DOT Contains 67% B2O3 content (20.9% is Boron by weight).

It is slightly alkaline in low concentration solutions, it becomes neutral in high concentration solutions.

Fertilizer – DOT was developed particularly for agriculture, it can be used as a solid or liquid on soil & foliar applications.  Solubility is higher than similar compounds, produced is powder form but applied to soil or crops as a solution.

Fire Retardant – Used to reduce the kindling rate of burning substances.  Important for giving fire retardant properties to resin-based wooden composite panels.  Used as a protective material in timber and solid wood products.
