Copper Citrate 25kg Bag

Copper citrate hemipentahydrate is a bluish-green, hydrated compound formed from copper and citric acid.

Used in the food industry, sometimes with citric acid and sodium citrate, as a food preservative.

Added to wine to eliminate reductive aromas, such as hydrogen sulfide, by forming copper sulfide, which removes the off-odor.

Used in livestock and poultry feed to promote proper growth, improve feed efficiency, and prevent copper deficiencies.

Can be used in fertilizers to correct copper deficiency in plants, especially in soils lacking adequate copper.

Copper has known antimicrobial properties, so copper citrate may be used in certain formulations (e.g., sprays, coatings, or additives) where microbial control is important.
