Copper Sulphate, also known as “blue vitriol” or “bluestone,” is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula CuSO₄. It appears as blue crystals in its hydrated form (CuSO₄·5H₂O).
It serves as an algaecide, fungicide, and disinfectant, with uses in agriculture, swimming pool maintenance, and animal health.
