T.A.E.D also known as Tetraacetylethylenediamine (C₁₀H₁₆O₄N₂),

Reacts easily with peroxide to form peracetic acid in an alkaline environment.

It has a stronger bleaching performance than Hydrogen Peroxide at lower temperatures and is usually used as a bleach activator of peroxide.

Used together with Sodium Percarbonate in detergents and dishwashing agents, it has strong functions of bleaching, disinfecting and sterilizing.

At the same time, TAED helps to reduce the bleaching damage of cotton fabrics,

the reaction products can be biodegradeable, which is an ideal bleaching aid.
